Brookeville Knolls HOA Board of Directors Meeting

7:30 pm, Wednesday, September 17, 2025

Attendees: Maria B, Maria H, David K, Brad S

Call Meeting to Order – 7:31pm called to order

Introduce Jason Fisher - HOA Attorney Presentation

·       Practicing HOA/Community Association Law for 25 years

·       Monthly Retainer Package

o   Includes Annual Meeting reminders and Annual Meeting attendance

·       Will estimate projects for amount of work and cost before starting to avoid “sticker shock”

·       Jason will send a proposal for our review

Review / Approval of August 2025 minutes – Motion to approve passed.

President’s Report

a.     GOCA website also has a direct link to Roads; able to report missing signs, blocked signs, areas where grass hasn’t been mowed, etc. Ryan added this link to the Frequently Asked Questions, but Maria B. suggested he make this more prominent. Maria B. asked Ryan if he can add this to the header. Maria B. provided suggestions to limit the number of tabs. Ryan is working on this.

b.     GOCA

o   Maria B. attended the August meeting, which was a social event at the Brookeville Academy

o   Maria B. attended a MoCo County Council meeting at St. John’s Episcopal Church on 9/13, which was hosted by Evan Glass and Dawn Luedtke

Treasurer’s Report

·       Sandy Springs Bank is getting bought out by Atlantic Union Bank, accounts are changing. Need to keep an eye on it, and possibly ask our attorney about switching banks

·       Maria B to send email with reminder to HO’s about paying annual dues.
