Brookeville Knolls HOA Board Meeting Minutes
Wednesday, December 8, 2021
7:00 p.m. – Zoom Online
Attendees:

Review / Approval of October 2021 Meeting Minutes
· Maria B. called the meeting to order at 7:02PM.
· David motioned to approve the October meeting minutes. Rick seconded and all were in favor.
President’s Report:
● Determine if current BOD roles should change. BOD members decided to remain in their current roles.
● Website updates:
o Ryan posted the December meeting date on our website banner.
o He also posted a redacted version of our September meeting minutes.
● GOCA
o No updates were received.
● Emails:
o Reminders were sent to Heritage Hills and Dartmoor homeowners who have not submitted their speed hump ballots.
o Participated in Community Association Services’ (TH condo group) annual meeting on 11/9.
o Emails were received from homeowners with questions about the trash program.

● Re-Sale Packages: No requests are pending nor have new requests been received.

Old Business:
● Grounds Maintenance / Landscaping Projects
o Need to create an RFP for bids for the proposed work to address water flow issues. OC&L has provided the final plans. David asked about the print format of the final plans. Maria B. volunteered Rick and Bob to work on a RFP.
o Parcel D survey.
o Emailed Land Décor asking what their protocol is if they come across a down branch
o Sent email to Land Décor re leaf pickup in the circles; once prior to Thanksgiving and another after all leaves have fallen. Land Décor has since completed one round of cleanup / mulching the leaves.
● ADU Voting/Meeting Review of new amendment.

● Reserve Study
o Maria to work with David to work up estimates after the November Annual meeting. Maria B. will wait until after first of year.
● Speed humps on Heritage Hills Drive between Queen Elizabeth Drive and Route 108

New Business:
· Discuss trash program. Maria B. is waiting for competitive bids from a number of companies to compare against Potomac Disposal’s quote.
· Rick spoke about the damaged riprap in the Queen Elizabeth/Shady View storm water drainage channel and suggested that the company chosen for the Toddsbury common area drainage remediation should also look at the damaged area and provide a quote for repair.
The next Board meeting will be on January 19th, 2022 at 7:00 PM. Rick motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:53PM. Maria B. seconded and all were in favor.
