January 2020 Board Meeting Summary

Brookeville Knolls HOA Board Meeting Minutes

Wednesday, January 15, 2020

7:00 p.m. – Olney Library

Attendees:

General:

• Ryan called the meeting to order at 7:04 pm.

• David motioned to approve the December meeting minutes as written. Ryan seconded, and all were in favor.

President’s Report:

• Paid invoice for our website.

• Ryan will send the GOCA invoice to David for payment. Maria motioned to donate to the Olney Police substation. Ryan seconded, and all were in favor. David will submit donation payment.

• GOCA:

• Annual awards are coming up. Go online to nominate someone.

Treasurer’s Report:

• Account Balances

• No resale packages requested

• Trash program

• Dues

• David will send out the updated database

• Audit is complete; David received the final file

Vice President’s Report

• Not present

Secretary’s Report:

• Maria worked with Pupkar on trees to be removed behind Toddsbury Court; work is complete.

• Maria sent another request to Land Décor for a mowing bid and estimate to spread mulch pile along the path to prevent further erosion.

• Maria will ask Land Décor to fill in the hole in the common area.

Old Business:

• Comcast: They will follow-up with us in January. Maria will follow-up.

New Business:

• Reviewed legal representation and fees.

• Need to address ADU issue and appropriate changes to our covenants or by-laws.

• Will also pursue as our HOA attorney.

• Ryan motioned to continue pursuing this attorney. David seconded, and all were in favor.

• David made a motion to pay Board Members per page copied. Ryan seconded; all were favor.

• Landscaping:

• Mowing Contract:

• Maria will send request to Ruppert

• Trees:

• Maria will ask Pupkar about the need to plant new trees and/or what’s needed for reforestation.

• Path:

• Sign on 108 has been messed up. Ryan will check it out.

• ACRs:

• Addressed two requests

Maria motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:56pm; Ryan seconded, and all were in favor. The next meeting is scheduled for February 19, from 7:30 – 8:30 pm at the Olney Library.
