December 2019 Board Meeting Summary

Brookeville Knolls HOA Board Meeting Minutes

Wednesday, December 4, 2019

7:00 p.m.

Attendees:

General:

• Ryan called the meeting to order at 6:39 pm.

• David motioned to approve the November annual meeting minutes as written. Ryan seconded, and all were in favor.

President’s Report:

• Speed humps: No update but these will probably be installed in the spring now.

• Website: Ryan removed the annual meeting information from the main page. He will post the November annual meeting minutes this weekend.

• GOCA:

• Meeting next week

• Ryan received their survey results; he will analyze positive vs negative feedback.

• GOCA supported a ballot initiative redistricting Montgomery County into 9 districts

Treasurer’s Report:

• Account Balances

• No resale packages requested

• Trash program Report

• Dues Report

Vice President’s Report

• Not present

Secretary’s Report:

• Maria shared updates on landscaping requests submitted to Land Decor and Pupkar.

Old Business:

• Landscaping:

• Comcast: They will follow-up with us in January.

• Legal representation

New Business:

• Discussed items to focus on in 2020:

• Address changes to bylaws to address ADUs; have someone review bi-laws and covenants to ensure they are filed correctly.

• Start compliance walkthroughs

• Planting trees to address reforestation: ask Pupkar about the best time to plant trees (March)

• Address drainage issues (March)

• Review areas of path that need to be addressed, i.e. tree roots (May)

• Remaining meetings will be scheduled at a future date.

David motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:16pm; Ryan seconded, and all were in favor. The next meeting is January 15, from 7:00 – 9:00pm at the Olney Library.
