GOCA January Update

Some highlights from the Greater Olney Civic Association January meeting:

  • Zoning Text Amendment on town center development, GOCA and OTCAC are looking for ways to become involved when a new business is proposing moving to Olney.

  • Emergency Radio Tower, GOCA is continuing to engage both the county and state regarding the proposed tower.

  • Medical Cannabis Dispensary in Olney, there was an update and discussion on this business, including security and other community impacts. The business is slated to open in the near future.

  • Officer nominations for the March 2019-Feb 2020 term.
