Brookeville Knolls HOA BOD Meeting Summary

Wednesday, April 18, 2018

7:30pm

Attendees:

Maria Mary Larry

General

  • Mary called the meeting to order at 7:37pm.

  • Mary motioned to approve the March meeting meetings as written. Larry seconded. All were in favor.

Treasurer’s Report:

  • Treasurer reported on Checking, Savings and Trash balances.

  • Paid one-year pre-payment for landscaping services.

  • Delinquent due accounts – no change.

  • Mary will contact John F. regarding 8 homeowners with delinquent on dues.

President’s Report:

  • Mary has Town Commons report. Mary will hold on to it and bring to the Annual meeting.

  • Transcontinental release document from 1997 – Mary will file.

  • Old ACR from Worsto from 1995; Maria will add to homeowner’s file.

  • MCDOT notice about Bowie Mill Bikeway from Olney to Needwood Road, and then connect off road to Shady Grove Metro.

  • Tanterra’s Today Newsletter mentioned that homeowners may request free home safety visit from the fire department.

VP’s Report:

  • Reviewed architectural notices.

  • Kathleen sent out the April newsletter.

Secretary’s Report:

  • No update

Member-At-Large:

  • Ryan posted updates on the website.

  • Ryan submitted request to MDOT for crosswalk at QE and Shady View Lane.

Old Business:

  • Trees:

  • Mary has not heard back from Pupkar on when he’ll walk the common areas.

  • Architectural Guidelines:

  • Reviewed AG document. Board will review and add comments for the next meeting.

  • We drafted form letter to be used for non-compliant Architectural changes.

  • Path Repair:

  • Maria will follow-up with B&B on an estimate for repair of the broken path section near the Y.

  • Landscaping Projects:

  • Larry suggested Plant scrubs along QE along the pipeline to prevent trucks from going onto the pipeline. Mary will ask Brian who he called for permission to install the sign posts.

  • Need estimate from C&R for preening and mulching all the beds we’ve done in the past. Maria will ask C&R for an estimate and fixing tire ruts along QE.

  • Mowing Proposal:

  • C&R has not yet provided an estimate for debris clean up. Maria will follow-up.

  • Mary will ask Pupkar about removing the fallen tree branches on the pipeline and behind the Y section of the path and another branch behind Chancery Court.

New Business:

  • ACRs:

  • Approved 3 requests

Kathleen motioned to adjourn at 9:10. Larry seconded. All were in favor.
