Brookeville Knolls HOA 2016 -2017 Board Accomplishments

• Audit performed by a local CPA. A letter of engagement has been signed for the 2016 – 2017 fiscal year

• After many years of asking for a volunteer to design and implement a website…we have a volunteer. We are grateful to Bradley for his efforts so far and feel this will be an useful tool to communicate to the larger community who we are and also to post our newsletters, community news and pertinent forms. Bradley has created a suggested format for the website and the next step is input for content.

• Retained landscapers to mow and clean up the common areas.

• Installed signs at several entrances to the path system advising path users that the path is the property of Brookeville Knolls HOA and NO Dumping, No Littering. Another sign on the posts requests that dog waste be picked up.

• Worked with an arborist and tree company to maintain and, where necessary, take down trees or prune them in the interest of safety. Homeowners need to be aware that trees in the common area are felled and left where they fall; they are not hauled away due to prohibitive cost. Contracts have been signed for the removal of multiple ash trees that are dying or have died due to bore damage. Much of this debris will be chipped and the chips will be left in the woods for use (homeowners will be responsible for haul away) by homeowner’s on a first come, first serve basis.

• Addressed several concerns from individual homeowners

• Designated a Board Member to constantly monitor the BKHOA gmail account so homeowners receive prompt replies.

• Continued to prepare and send out newsletters when information needed to be disseminated. Designated a Board Member to attend GOCCA Meetings with other Board Members attending on occasion.

• Prepared Resale Document Packages as requested by Homeowners.

• Reviewed many architectural and grounds change applications

• Conducted two Community Grounds Clean-up days with many residents in attendance.
