Brookeville Knolls HOA BOD Meeting Minutes

Wednesday, January 2, 2019

7:30 pm

Attendees:

Maria Kathleen Ryan David

General:

  • Kathleen called the meeting to order at 7:35pm.

  • Kathleen motioned to approve the September and December minutes as written. Ryan seconded, and all were in favor.

President’s Report:

  • Kathleen questioned the price of the tree work; we did not need it removed. Price does not change.

Treasurer’s Report:

  • David provided a comprehensive report

  • Homeowners with outstanding dues

  • Reported on account balances.

  • David received invoice for PO Box

  • He received an invoice from C&R Contractors for leaf removal.

  • David received the preliminary Audit report.

VP’s Report:

  • Ryan posted the September and December minutes to the website.

  • He’s been talking with a couple of homeowners in Tanterra regarding traffic issues.

  • Ryan will continue to pursue this issue.

Secretary’s Report:

  • Nothing to report.

Old Business:

  • 2019 Meeting Schedule:

  • Reviewed the schedule and locations.

  • Leaf Clean-up:

  • Ryan will walk the circles to check the leaf status.

  • Maria will follow-up with C&R about stick removal that never occurred last spring.

  • Priorities for 2019:

  • Architectural Guidelines: Review: file with County; enforcement

  • Reserve Account

  • Finding more volunteers

  • HOA path to Georgia Avenue: talk with our attorney

  • Landscaping projects: possible reforestation

New Business:

  • Kathleen will contact our attorney to schedule a meeting with the Board

  • Signed Conflict of Interest and Code of Conduct forms. David will scan the forms and send to Board members.

  • Online training

  • GOCA Membership: We are all able to attend; next meeting is 1/8/19 (2nd Tuesdays).

  • Website:

  • Ryan has been posting GOCA info on our blog; use blog and website more and get away from a formal newsletter.

  • Add FAQ page: Architectural Guidelines examples; etc.

Maria motioned to adjourn the meeting at 9:28pm. Ryan seconded, and all were in favor. The next meeting is scheduled for February 6th.
